the beaches are khanom's best value; they are amazing. but behind the beaches is a very beautiful area which offers thailand's whole variety of nature in only one province. to be in the middle of a paddy field but only 100 meters from the beach - this is like phuket and chiang mai in one place - but as if it was 20 years ago...
