around khanom you find some of the most amazing beaches thailand has to offer and the season is longer than anywhere else. just be aware to protect yourself from a few things which are important: sun (is much stronger than you expect), jellyfish (in shallow water on all the beaches) and sandflies (or black flies - everywhere where there is sand).
